Deposits & cancellations
Container orders may require a deposit to reserve the unit and schedule freight. You may cancel for a full refund, including any deposit, as long as we have not yet dispatched the container or scheduled tilt-bed freight. Until that point your payment is treated as a refundable deposit.
Once freight has been scheduled or the container has left our depot, cancellation may forfeit the deposit and any non-recoverable freight costs already incurred. If a truck is dispatched and turned away due to site conditions on your end, the freight cost is non-refundable and a redelivery may be charged.
Returns
Because containers are large freight items, returns are handled case by case. A delivered container in the same condition and grade in which it was supplied may be returned within a reasonable period after delivery, subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% and return freight at your expense. Contact us before arranging any return so we can issue a Return Authorization.
Not eligible for return
- Units that have been modified, cut, painted, or fitted out after delivery.
- Custom or made-to-order modular structures.
- “As-Is” graded units, which are sold without a condition guarantee.
- Containers placed into service or relocated from the delivery address.
Return freight must be arranged with a carrier capable of handling containers. LL Containers is not liable for damage that occurs during a customer-arranged return.
Refunds
Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days of the returned unit being received and inspected, or of an approved cancellation. Refunds are issued in US Dollars ($) to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3 – 5 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Condition guarantee & grades
Every container is backed by our 5-Point Condition Guarantee and sold to a stated grade — One-Trip, Cargo Worthy (CW), Wind & Water Tight (WWT), or As-Is. If a delivered unit does not match its advertised grade, contact us with photos and your order number and we will make it right with a repair, replacement or refund. As-Is units are sold in their current condition without a wind/water-tight guarantee.

Damage in transit / at delivery
Inspect your container carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If you see damage that is inconsistent with the grade you purchased, note it clearly on the driver’s delivery receipt before signing and take photos. Then email the details to support@llcontainers.com within 24 hours. We will open a claim with the carrier and arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Signing a clean receipt confirms the unit arrived in acceptable condition.
How to start a return or claim
- Email support@llcontainers.com with your order number, the issue, and photos where relevant.
- We reply within one business day with a Return Authorization (RA) number and next steps.
- For approved returns, coordinate freight with us or an insured container carrier, referencing the RA number.
- On receipt and inspection, we issue the refund or replacement within the windows above.
